Young Earth Warriors (ages 7-9)

Through land based, experiential learning, Young Earth Warriors explore the basic fundamental's of self care, self regulation and self control. During our ever changing seasons, the YEW learn about the basics in tool safety, fire building/ lighting, water purification and shelter building. Skill building, communal games encourage a sense of community and belonging within the group where conflict is solved with words instead of fists. Sit spots offers the YEW with a little quite time for reflection on their day.

The YEW will explore natures loose part wonders and bounty through non permanent  "transient art", all while discovering their inner creativity and inner nature. 

The Young Earth Warriors are guided by life's 3 rules; Respect yourself, others, and the environment.

This program is a great introduction to the forest school model where YEW students discover how we are all connected to nature, inside and out.
