Prairie Rangers (ages 10 and up)

 The Prairie Ranger program is recommended for students that love being outside and are looking for a more challenging outdoor experience. Students will be required to develop their own personal kit based on each students’ personal needs and be responsible for the care and maintenance of their personal kit (a student kit checklist will be provided). Over the course of the program, students will be exploring seasonal survival, shelter building, fire making, hunting/fishing, water purification, orientation, wilderness first aid, and they will be invited to join seasonal overnight camp trips and bike packing days in and around the Saskatoon area.
The Prairie Ranger hours are 9am to 330pm.

Enrollment

Youth (ages 10-15 years) can be registered throughout the school year by contacting us through email. All documents/waivers MUST be signed before the start of the program. Forms can be submitted to our above address or handed to an Instructor upon arrival of the first session. Ages 10 and up recommended.

Families are able to pre-register for 4 or 8 sessions a month. Unfortunately we cannot accept “drop-ins” for this program. All youth must be enrolled for a minimum of 4 sessions a month. 

Fees

8 Sessions per month - $290 (Tuesday/Thursday) -RECOMMENDED 

4 Sessions per month - $200 (Tuesday)

Fees are due upon enrollment for the upcoming sessions and can be payed via e-transfer to ppnl.saskatoon@gmail.com
