As the owner/operator and lead instructor for PPNL, I am dedicated to serving my community and passing primitive survival knowledge on to our children. I am a level 3 ECE with 19 years of experience and have spent the past 6 years combining my love of nature with my passion for early learning to provide land based learning opportunities as a forest school practioner. I have 25 years of bushcraft/camping experience that spans across Canada and have learned many of my skills from our indigenous elders.
I have also served my community as a volunteer fire fighter, with swift water rescue, search & rescue, wilderness and remote first aid experience.
Now I am here to serve you!

I've been working with kids for 8 years and love to work with them. I enjoy being out in nature even in the cold months of Saskatchewan winters and the desert heat of our summers. I love baking ,eating ice cream and being outdoors on bike or on foot in nature.

I am an active outdoor adventurer that loves a good challenge. I enjoy birding, backpacking, hiking, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, biking, kayaking, and camping in all seasons including winter. I earned a 1st degree blackbelt in ITF Taewkon-do at 35 and more recently started training and competing in triathlons. I am a level 1 Ear

I am a level 1 Early Childhood Educator and ran my own licensed childcare program out of my home for 13 years. In my program, we spent a lot of time adventuring in the outdoors at local conservation areas and naturalized parks. I encourage children to take risks, get messy, and learn from hands on experiences. It brings me much joy to nurture children in nature!
